valleyfest volunteer

• ValleyFest is a 3 v. 3 basketball tournament sponsored by Hoop for the Valley, LLC.

• Hoop for the Valley, LLC was formed after the tragic passing of Ethan Chapin. Tyler Amaya formed Hoop for the Valley to share Ethan’s vibrant light and to inspire youth of Skagit Valley. This organization honors Ethan’s all-too-brief life by sharing the joy of basketball with kids who otherwise wouldn’t have the same opportunity he cherished.

• ValleyFest is a multiple day community event that brings basketball, music and community together.

• There are multiple team divisions that are based on age/grade, High School, Adult competitive, Adult recreational and Adults 35 and older.

• All volunteers will be briefed on their roles and the tournament rules. All volunteers will be supported by Hoop for the Valley Board Members.
